Broken wrist, not spirits

(I "commented" rather than posted yesterday - so just copying here ...)

Love the blog Aunt Josie! And tech-novice or not - leave it to you to get it done!!! Very impressive once again.

Us west coasters are very excited for Whit and Jeff :) we're confident they're going to be great parents -- and with such wonderful genes their baby will be gorgeous and brilliant!

Our latest news is far more pedestrian ... Caroline broke her wrist Sunday during her olympic development program practice (still can't believe I have kids that are so athletic) - we thought it would be putting quite a dent in her summer plans - but the orthopod set her up with a hard, waterproof cast and gave her the green light to play soccer, swim, etc. pretty much immediately. She left the doc at 5 and by 6 "requested" to be dropped off at the overnight soccer camp she was supposed to check-in for that morning. (Guess which side of the family all that determination comes from!) Aside from Xander's growing Wii addiction though the rest of us are good. Can't wait to keep up on everyone else's news.
We miss you all!
Love, Karen
